Election '10
Terry McAuliffe for Governor
Written by Matthew Locke at 3:45 PM
Terry McAuliffe, who shepherded the Democratic National Committee through two disastrous elections before becoming Hillary Clinton's buffoonishly self-effacing media whipping boy during this year's primaries, is tentatively running to be Governor of Virginia. His candidacy will answer the age-old question, can you appear on a cable morning show shooting rum in a Hawaiian shirt while absurdly shilling for a zombie campaign and still be elected Governor of Virginia? We'll see.
